If you can’t see it, you can’t take hold of it. If you don’t picture it, you can’t possess it.
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“Where there is no vision, the people perish; but blessed is he who keeps the law.” – Proverbs 29:18
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
People who live with vision don’t end prematurely.

MESSAGE
Scripture makes it clear: vision is one of God’s keys to a long, fulfilled life. Men and women who carry a God-given vision are built to last. They don’t get cut down easily, provided they walk in righteousness and stay faithful to that vision.
Today we’ll look at two men whose lives prove the preserving power of vision.
1. Abraham: Vision Gave Him a Long, Full Life
In Genesis 13:14-15, after Lot separated from him, God told Abraham, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are… for all the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.”
God painted a picture of the future for Abraham. He saw it, believed it, and walked in it. That vision became the nation of Israel.
How durable was Abraham?
Genesis 25:7-8 tells us: “These are the days of the years of Abraham’s life, 175 years. Abraham breathed his last and died in a good old age, an old man and full of years, and was gathered to his people.”
Abraham didn’t die young, bitter, or empty. He lived to 175, satisfied, fulfilled, and ready. Vision kept him moving, expecting, and alive in purpose until his time was complete.
2. Joseph: Vision Kept Him Through Every Storm
You can’t talk about vision without mentioning Joseph. In Genesis 37:3-9, he saw in a dream that his brothers and parents would bow to him. His brothers hated him for it, sold him into slavery, and tried to bury his destiny.
But the vision wouldn’t die. It carried him through betrayal, false accusation, prison, and delay. Years later, he stood as Prime Minister of Egypt, and his family bowed before him exactly as he had seen.
Genesis 50:25-26 shows us the end result: Joseph lived to 110, saw his children’s children, and died in peace. Everything that could have cut him short came, but none of it succeeded. Why? There was a vision in him that had to come to pass.
The Principle:
A person with vision is not easily wasted. The enemy can attack, but he cannot cancel what God has shown you. If they can’t kill your vision, they can’t kill your future. Hold on to it, no matter the pressure, delay, or opposition.
REMEMBER THIS:
Men and women of vision don’t end before their time.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Go back over today’s message and let it settle in your heart.
2. Hold firmly to the vision God has given you, regardless of what the devil tries to throw at it.
3. Run with your vision
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
I declare that the Lord is opening your eyes to see all that He has prepared for your life and future. Nothing will cut you short in Jesus’ Name.
PRAYER:
Father, thank You for Your Word today. Open my eyes to see the visions that will secure my destiny. I declare I will not be cut short before my time. I will fulfill my days and purpose, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
