TEHILA WORD OF WISDOM (TWOW)
TEHILA GOSPEL OF WISDOM (TWOW) (First Service)
DATE: 10th May, 2026
TOPIC: Dynamism Through the Force of Vision
QUOTE:
Show me a person with purpose, and I’ll show you a person with wisdom. To live without vision is to live without direction.
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:
“And the Lord answered me: Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.” – Habakkuk 2:2
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
A life fueled by vision is a life full of energy and movement.
—
MESSAGE:
Vision is what turns ordinary people into movers. When God speaks in Habakkuk 2:2, He doesn’t just say “have a vision.” He says, write it clearly so that anyone who reads it will run with it. Vision creates urgency. It puts fire in your steps and clarity in your mind.
1. Vision produces dynamism
A person with vision does not stay idle. Vision injects energy, drive, and alertness into your life. It makes you agile, focused, and forward-moving.
When you have a reason to wake up each day, laziness loses its grip. Vision is the antidote to a dull, decaying life. It destroys the spirit of procrastination, weakness, and excuse-making.
2. Without vision, life degenerates
Think of a car left parked for months. The tires go flat, the battery dies, the metal rusts, and the wires break down. It wasn’t built to sit still.
It’s the same with life. A life without vision begins to decay. A man who retires at 65 but has no purpose beyond his job often ages rapidly within a year. His strength fades, his health declines, and life loses its color.
But the man or woman who has a vision for life after retirement steps into a new season with vigor, like a horse breaking into a gallop.
3. Vision keeps your system alive
Ecclesiastes 10:18 says, “Through laziness, the roof sags, and through idle hands, the house leaks.”
An unused building soon cracks, collects dust, and becomes home to pests. In the same way, a life without vision becomes vulnerable to discouragement, disease, and defeat.
When people lose their reason for living, they start dying inside long before their bodies give out.
4. Vision carries life itself
Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”
The opposite is also true: with vision, people flourish. Vision carries life-force. It keeps your spirit strong, your mind alert, and your body active. Vision makes you run when others walk, and walk when others stop.
REMEMBER THIS:
A life lived with vision is a life full of energy, purpose, and momentum.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Identify and write down something meaningful you are living for. Give your life a clear target.
2. Refuse to check out mentally, even after retirement or a major life shift. Find a new mission to run with.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION:
I decree over you today: By the power of vision, fresh strength, vitality, and energy are released into your life in Jesus’ Name.
PRAYER:
Father, give me the grace to run with the vision You have placed in my heart. I refuse to grow weary or be distracted. I choose to live with purpose and energy, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
